Update - First Draft Complete

Dear Reader,

As always, I hope this finds you well. I've been a tad behind on a couple of reviews lately, but I come bearing excuses and platitudes that I hope will temporarily satiate your ferocious appetite for quality writing. A while back, last year, I said I'd started writing a new book and you'll be pleased to know that today I finished my first draft of a future novel.

I don't want to say too much now, but a lot of effort went into this one and I'm pretty darn proud of how it's looking. It's pretty crude at the moment, but it's a serviceable story that I will have to thoroughly put through the editing process before shooting for publication.

A few things I can tease right now is that this book is completely separate from my previous two novels: Run & Hide and The Fall and Rise of Mark Ridley. I may joke about those two, but I learned a lot in writing both of those and I'm hoping to apply the lessons learned from them in this one here.

Another element I can promise is that this will be a return to horror along the lines of Bram Stoker's Dracula and Stephen Matheson's Hell House. I'm very excited and eager to share more details, but I'll have to leave you with that for now! Please keep an eye out for future updates, and I'll make sure to get some more reviews and the occasional short story when I can. Take care until then!

Eyes in the Dark - Tales from the Milkwood Lounge

*Note: It's been almost nine months since I initially put up my original introduction for my Tales from the Milkwood Lounge series. I'm ashamed to say that I never delivered on the promise of delivering any short stories since. The Fanatic - Film Review

It's been a while since I posted a review of a bad movie, so I thought I'd pull out all the stops for this one. It's a damn shame to see John Travolta's career implode in such a spectacular fashion as I've always been a fan of his (I really recommend The General's Daughter ). This just might be the final nail in Travolta's lengthy career.  1 Where You Can Find It:   We streamed this freak-show on Amazon Video where it is available for rent/purchase. General Information  The Fanatic is allegedly a psychological horror-thriller (that's what its Wikipedia page says at least) that was released on 30 August 2019 to a limited theatrical run, as well as video-on-demand.
